Thanks for the thoughts. When in college, I made it my aim to see every Bond movie. I had never seen the Connery films, but once I did, I understood why everyone raved, even in today’s world of high tech special effects. I’m a Goldfinger man myself, and do have high hopes for Mr. Craig.

I used to argue with my Dad about 007 when I was in middle school. I thought he was crazy for insisting that Connery was the best Bond because I was sure it was Roger Moore. He would just laugh and let me rant. Now I know he was right.

JUST had a 5 minute IM argument with my uncle (and mentor) over why he choose Roger Moore. I think I have to decide between Connery or Brosnan.

I guess that’s the modern version of my argument with my Dad.
I cringe these days when I see the Moore films on cable. I still love watching nearly any of the movies, but Moore’s are laughable at times because they are so poor by comparison.
Right now, I give Connery the nod over Brosnan, but Brosnan was great, too. I am really curious to see where Craig falls once he’s had a few films to showcase his talents.
