Preds goalies: 1A + 1B = 0
Paraphrasing conventional football wisdom, if you have two starting goaltenders, you don’t have one. Preds Coach Barry Trotz, who’s had a disturbing tendency to swap netminders in recent seasons, needs to settle on Pekka Rinne or Dan Ellis and stick with his choice. Being wishy-washy about who the #1 goaltender is won’t boost either keeper’s confidence or the team’s win total. If it were up to me, I’d go with Rinne.
